Hi. I’m Taimoor Ali.
Just a person — with a story, a past, some losses, some lessons, and a deep desire to build something that lasts.
I want to be honest with you from the very first word on this page. That’s the kind of space I want Taims Space to be — honest, real, and worth your time.
Where the Name “Taims” Comes From
A company. A nickname. A memory.
A few years ago, I started a company with some of my closest partners. We called it Taimsco.
The name was simple. It came from me — Taimoor. I took the first few letters of my name — Taim’s — and added Co, short for Company. Put them together: Taimsco. Taimoor’s Company. That’s it.
There was something about that name that felt right. It felt personal. It felt like ownership — not just of a business, but of an identity.
And somewhere along the way, my partners started calling me Taims.
Not Taimoor. Taims.
It stuck. And honestly? I loved it. It was our thing — something built inside those walls, between those people, during those years when everything felt possible and we were figuring it all out together.
The Name Carries a Memory. A Real One. The Kind That Lives in the Chest, Not Just the Mind.
Those partners — the people I built that company with — they’re gone now. Not in the dramatic sense. Life just moved us in different directions, the way it does. Partnerships break. People leave. Things end.
But the one who used to call me Taims — she’s gone too. And that one hits differently.
I don’t want to say much more than that. Some things don’t need a lot of words. What I will say is that the name Taims carries a memory now. A real one. The kind that lives in the chest, not just the mind.
So when I decided to launch this blog, when I sat down and thought about what to call it — it wasn’t even a question.
Taims Space.
This is my space. And it’s named after a chapter of my life I never want to forget.
